On April 21st this year Google are rolling out a major update that will look at the mobile usability of websites, with the update having a significant impact on mobile search results.  Websites that have been optimised for mobile devices will do well out of the update and sites that haven’t will undoubtedly see a drop in their search rankings.  Dependent upon the amount of traffic and conversions your website currently receives through mobile, if your site isn’t mobile friendly, the results could be grave!

How do I check to see if my website is set up for Mobile?

The first place to visit is your Google Webmaster Tools account – you will find your Mobile Usability results under Search Traffic in the menu.  Your results will look a little like this;
